About Us



Point Richmond Self Storage is locally-owned by three principals and a small group of outside investors. The facility is directly operated by the principals that also own and operate twelve other self-storage facilities located in the Marin County, Contra Costa County and East Texas. One of the Point Richmond Self Storage principals also specializes in self storage design and construction and has been integral to the design, development and construction of over 300 self-storage projects over a 21 year period.

Directions from Westbound 580 (Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Albany):

  1. Take the Canal Boulevard/Garrard Boulevard exit
  2. Take the first right at the traffic light onto Canal Boulevard
  3. Take the first right at the traffic light onto West Ohio Avenue
  4. Point Richmond Self Storage is approximately 400 yards on the right at 300 West Ohio Avenue


Directions from the San Rafael/Richmond Bridge on Eastbound 580 (San Rafael, Corte Madera, Greenbrae, Larkspur):

  1. Take the Canal Boulevard/Garrard Boulevard exit
  2. Turn left at the light under 580 onto Canal Boulevard
  3. Take the first right at the traffic light onto West Ohio Avenue
  4. Point Richmond Self Storage is approximately 400 yards on the righthand side at 300 West Ohio Avenue
